Dr. Tariq Shafi is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cath Lab at Doctors Hospital & Medical Centre, Lahore.
Since 1990, he has devoted his career to diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease. His practice spans routine angioplasty and complex procedures, with particular expertise in difficult blockages that require advanced techniques and careful decision-making.

For more than 35 years, Dr. Tariq Shafi has dedicated his career to coronary angioplasty, personally performing more than 22,000 angioplasties and 70,000 coronary angiograms. His practice spans the full range of coronary artery disease, with a particular focus on difficult and complex heart blockages.

Today, he continues to perform more than 600 angioplasties and 2,000 coronary angiograms each year, including many difficult and complex cases.
